Kay Ivey for Lt. Governor

Meet Kay Ivey

Thank you for taking time to visit my website to stay connected with my re-election campaign.

In 2010, we made historic changes when the Republican Party put an end to 136 straight years of Democrat control in the State Legislature. I am proud to be a part of this momentous change in the political make-up of our great state and also the extraordinary achievements we have made in the last three years.

I am honored to serve the people of the State of Alabama. My commitment to you is that I will continue to be a full time Lt. Governor. I have no other jobs or outside interest because public service is my passion!

Thank you for your support in my campaign.

  • As we near the June 3rd Primary, I am disappointed in recent attack by my opponent. I had hoped that the Republican primary would be about issues, ideas and accomplishments. I was disappointed to see my opponent distributing outright falsehoods about my record and me. My opponent, who identifies himself as a “Christian leader” in his campaign material, is making false statements about me and partnering with a shadowy non-profit and individuals with alleged ties to AEA. My opponent’s largest contributor, outside … read more
